When you search your practice in the box above, we pull the live numbers from your Google Business Profile via the Google Places API. You can also enter them manually if your practice does not appear in the search.

Why does the math assume only 5-star reviews from now on?

Accepted Answer

Because that is the cleanest answer to "what is the minimum number to reach my target". In real life some reviews will be 4-star, some negative — which means you actually need more than the calculated minimum. On the X18 platform every client gets the same ask plus a direct feedback line to the practice — steady volume and genuine service recovery are why our cohort hits 4.8+ ratings reliably.

Yes — Google rounds the displayed rating to the nearest 0.1, so any actual average of 4.95 or higher displays as 5.0 on your public profile. The calculator targets that 4.95 threshold when you pick 5.0, so the answer is real and reachable. Several clinics in the X18 customer base hold a 5.0 displayed rating.

Where do the LTV bands come from?

Vet practices have very different lifetime customer values depending on size: small-animal GP practices typically see 3,000–5,000 AUD per acquired client across the whole relationship (consults, vaccinations, surgical, end-of-life). Mid-size hospitals — most established AU/NZ/UK clinics — sit at 5,000–7,000 AUD. Specialty and surgical referral hospitals can see up to 15,000 AUD per client. We localise these bands to your detected currency and apply them to the rating-gap math. Override the LTV field if yours is materially different.
